Bobcats Swept by College of Charleston

Charleston, South Carolina – The Quinnipiac women's volleyball team dropped their contest against the Invitational hosts, the College of Charleston, 3-0, on Saturday night.
The College of Charleston took the opening set from the Bobcats, defeating them 25-20 in the opening set. A trio of Bobcats recorded three kills: Milena Silva, Elena Giacomini, and Yagmur Gunes.
In the second set, the Cougars led by as many as ten points and ultimately won the set, 25-16. Graduate student Elena Giacomini went off for eight kills in the set to lead the Bobcats.
Charleston closed out the match with a 25-18 win in the third set. Elena Giacomini recorded four kills in the set, and Vittoria Tonelli and Yagmur Gunes added three kills each.
