No. 14 Quinnipiac Rounds Out Home Regular Season Slate with Win

HAMDEN, Conn. — The No. 14 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey program moved within a win of the Cleary Cup on Saturday night, knocking off Brown by a 4-0 final at M&T Bank Arena on Saturday night.
Quinnipiac was able to hold on to a slim 1-0 lead through the first two periods, thanks to a power-play goal from Jack Ricketts. He potted his team-best 19th of the year.
After the first 40 minutes, the hosts would blow the game open, scoring three in the final frame to take control.
Dylan Silverstein made saves on all 22 shots on his net, before giving way to senior Noah Altman who finished off the final 1:17 of the contest.

The Bobcats will head up to Clarkson and St. Lawrence for a pair of contests next weekend to round out the 2024-25 regular season.

STATS AND NOTES
- Quinnipiac is now 11 of its last 22 on the power play, converting on three of six opportunities tonight.
- The Bobcats posted their third shutout of the season and second of the 2025 calendar year. They also allowed no goals at Holy Cross on Nov. 2 and hosting Princeton on Jan. 11.
- Tyler Borgula extended his points streak to six games with a goal and assist tonight. It was also his first multi-point outing since Dec. 29 against AIC.
- Jack Ricketts has scored a goal in four consecutive games, tied for the longest streak in the country this season.
- The Bobcats sit three points away from a fifth consecutive ECAC regular season championship and will look to clinch it on the road for the second straight year next weekend.
