
Morning MAAC Battle Awaits Bobcats at Niagara

HAMDEN, Conn. — Looking to make it two wins in two tries in MAAC play, the Quinnipiac University women's lacrosse team heads to Western New York on Saturday morning to take on Niagara. Due to the impending weather, the start time has been moved up to 10:30 a.m.
The Bobcats have won back to back games by a combined 32-12, defeating Central Connecticut State and Marist to improve to 5-4 on the year.

The Bobcats opened MAAC play with a convincing 16-7 victory over Marist on Saturday afternoon on QU Lacrosse Alumni Day in Hamden. Abby Wise recorded a career-high seven points, while Mia Delmond potted four goals to aid in the offensive attack.

Niagara comes into the matchup dropping both of its MAAC matchups to start 2023, falling to both Mount St. Mary's and Canisius in one-goal matchups. The Purple Eagles do a great job holding onto possession, currently leading the league and standing sixth in the nation in fewest turnovers at (11.64).
