Before Quinnipiac:
Showcased his skills as a gifted offensive defenseman as a member of the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express in 2014-15 … He led all defensemen on the team in points with 38 on the strength of eight goals and 30 assists … Fritz added five power-play goals and one shorthanded tally in 55 games … He was also a point-per-game player in five playoff games (one goal, four assists) … He also served as an assistant captain for Coquitlam last season … Before his time in the BCHL, Fritz played 44 games in the USHL in 2013-14 where he compiled five points (one goal, four assists) … His first junior hockey experience came for Canterbury School in Maryland where he chipped in 38 points (six goals, 32 assists) across 55 games in two seasons.
