Bio
As a Graduate Student in 2024-25
- Played in all 32 games for Quinnipiac, posting 1.6 PPG & 1.4 RPG
- Recorded 22 points and 14 rebounds, shooting 9-of-17 from the floor in regular-season finale at Fairfield (3/8)
- Scored in 12 different contests for the Bobcats – helping the team win its second consecutive regular season MAAC title
- Played in all 34 games for the Bobcats during his first year in Hamden
- Averaged 3.8 PPG & 2.5 RPG off the bench
- Recorded first double-double (13 points, 10 rebounds) on 11/10/23 vs. CCSU
- Scored 12 points vs. UMass on 11/13/23, then posted 12 points again against Marist on 3/7/24
- Joined the Bobcats after spending four seasons at UConn (2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23). The Brooklyn, New York-native played in 19 games for the 2022-23 national champion Huskies.
- The 6-foot-9, 245-pound forward played in 32 games during his time at UConn, scoring 30 points to along with 36 rebounds.
- Springs was expected to attend Brewster Academy for a postgraduate year in 2019-20, but reclassified and verbally committed to UConn in August of 2019.
- He played under coach Jacque Rivera at The MacDuffie School (Granby, Mass.). He also enjoyed two years at Bishop Loughlin Memorial (Brooklyn, N.Y.) under Coach Ed Gonzalez. Springs played on the AAU circuit for the PSA Cardinals under Munch Williams – averaging 10.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game in 18 contests.
