Guerengomba joins the Bobcats after spending his first collegiate season at UMass.
He played in 29 contests this past season for the Minutemen, averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game. The Washington, DC-native and former South Kent standout scored a career-high 10 points against Florida State back on 11/24/24.
"Nate is a versatile guard that can affect the game in many different ways," Pecora said. "We're excited for him to arrive on campus this summer."
Guerengomba scored in 17 different contests at UMass last year, and grabbed multiple rebounds 10 times.
He signed with UMass as a three-star recruit after playing at South Kent with current Bobcat Amarri Monroe. He was ranked as a Top 40 small forward nationally and the No. 2 player from the D.C. metro area.
During his senior season at South Kent, Guerengomba recorded 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per contest on 40% shooting. He's a two-time All-NEPSAC AAA Selection (sophomore and senior seasons), as well as an All-NEBL honoree as a senior.
