Robbert & Murray Each Score Twice for QU

RIVERDALE, NY - Quinnipiac men's lacrosse dropped a tight MAAC contest at Manhattan by the final score of 7-6 on Wednesday afternoon at Gaelic

Justin Robbert and Owen Murray each scored twice for the Bobcats, while Johnny Karafa dished out a pair of helpers. Mason Oak made 12 saves in front of the cage for QU.

Manhattan scored twice in the first quarter, then Quinnipiac battled back to tie the game 2-2 in the second stanza. The Bobcats took a 5-4 lead with 12:47 left in the fourth after Owen Murray scored his second goal of the day. Then, after a pair of goals from the Jaspers, Justin Robbert tied it once again (6-6) with 5:30 remaining.

Liam Peabody scored the winner for Manhattan with 3:44 to go.

With the result, QU falls to 2-2 in conference action so far in 2025.
