Men's Lacrosse Drops Tight MAAC Matchup vs. Canisius

HAMDEN, Conn. - Quinnipiac men's lacrosse fell against Canisius in a tight MAAC contest, 10-9, on Saturday afternoon in Hamden.
Justin Robbert and Trevor Douglas each scored three times to help pace the Bobcats. Cole Marsala recorded a team-high four assists.
Mason Oak made 11 stops in front of the cage for Quinnipiac (2-6, 2-1 MAAC).
The Bobcats led 9-7 with 5:54 left in the fourth quarter of action, then Canisius scored the game's final three goals to earn a one-score victory on the road. Jordan Reed scored all three goals down the stretch for the Griffs.
Shots finished even 29-29. Canisius won 13 of 22 faceoff battles.
