Bobcats Round Out Day One in Annapolis in a Tie For 5th Place

ANNAPOLIS, M.D. – The Quinnipiac women's golf program continued their 2024 Fall slate with the Navy Fall Invitational and the Bobcats finished in a tie for 5th place (+22, 310) out of 15 teams after day one.
Sandhya Vaikuntam is competing as an individual and is the highest finisher for the Bobcats on day one. Vaikuntam is tied for 8th place after she shot 74 (+2) on the opening day.
Sophia Fujita finished day one in a tie for 18th place after she carded a 76 (+4) to open the Navy Fall Invitational.
Marisa Flores, Natalie Spiska, and Fuge Zhang are all tied for 25th place after shooting a 78 (+6) to open play at the Invitational.
First-year Vaidehi Shah sits in a tie for 48th place after day one. Shah shot an 83 (+11) in her first collegiate tournament action.
The Bobcats will be back in action on Sunday, September 29th as they wrap up competition at the Navy Fall Invitational in Annapolis, MD.
