Softball Shuts Out Bucknell, Splits Last Day at Hampton/Norfolk State Tournament

HAMPTON, Va. – The Quinnipiac softball team finished out the Hampton/Norfolk State Tournament with a 5-0 shutout over Bucknell and a 9-1 loss to UMass Lowell on Sunday, Feb. 19 in Hampton, V.A. The Bobcats dominated the Bison through seven innings, putting up four runs in the third inning and adding one more in the sixth.
Quinnipiac dropped the first of two matchups on the day to UMass Lowell, with Julia Woeste scoring the only run of the game.

The Bobcats will continue their business trip on Saturday, Feb. 25 when they head to Dover, D.E. to take on Delaware State in a double header. First pitch is set for 2:30 p.m.
