HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac field hockey returns to action this weekend, as the Bobcats travel to take on BIG EAST foe Villanova (5 p.m.), before returning home on Sunday to welcome No. 24 Penn to Hamden for Senior Day (1 p.m.)
THE MATCHUP: vs. Villanova
● Friday's match marks the 10th ever matchup between the two programs
● Villanova is 6-3 all-time in nine contests against the Hoyas
● The last time the two sides faced off, Quinnipiac came away with a 5-4 win in overtime on the road on Oct. 21, 2021
● Emilia Massarelli and Julianna Cappello scored twice apiece to lead Quinnipiac past Villanova
