Bobcats Nearly Overcome Deficit in Loss at Villanova

After going down 3-0, Stella Tegtmeier started the scoring for the Bobcats at the end of the third quarter.
Emilia Massarelli and Julianna Capello chipped in fourth quarter goals to tie the game at three before Villanova was able to answer with one more.

- Q2 – (18:52) – Amanda Middleman gave Villanova its first lead of the day on assists from Emma Schwarz and Maggie Mick.
- Q3 – (36:33) – Amanda Middleman scored her second goal of the game unassisted to extend Villanova's lead.
- Q3 – (41:30) – Noor Van De Laar scored on an assist from Caitlin Van Goeverden to make it 3-0.
- Q3 – (44:48) – Micaela Grajales found Stella Tegtmeier on an outlet pass and she dribbled it all the way to the top of the half circle and shot and scored.
- Q4 – (50:40) – Off a penalty corner, Micaela Grajales stopped the insert pass and Stella Tegtmeier shot it and had her shot tipped by Emilia Massarelli for the goal.
- Q4 – (54:30) – Emilia Massarelli gained possession after a Villanova turnover in and shot it towards the far post and Julianna Capello was there to tip it in to tie the game.
- Q4 – (58:53) – Sabine de Ruijter scored to break the tie on assists from Raina Smolij and Anna Drabbe.

- Total shots were 21-12 in favor of Villanova, as well as shots on goal 11-6
- Penalty corners were even 6-6
- Emilia Massarelli had a goal and an assist to bring her season point total to 17
- Stella Tegtmeier now also has 17 points after a goal and an assist
- Julianna Capello scored her first goal of the season and thirteenth of her career
- Micaela Grajales has three assists on the season after having one today
