The Quinnipiac men's tennis team is back in action, as the Bobcats host the Sacred Heart University Pioneers at the Quinnipiac Tennis Courts Thursday, March 30, at 3 p.m.
SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
SHU owns a 2-10 record and have lost their last four contests. The Pioneers have earned wins over Holy Cross and Saint Peter's.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time Quinnipiac took the court, the Bobcats lost to Wesleyan in a thrilling 4-3 duel. Kei Ezaka (Ojai, California) was the only Bobcat to earn two victories on the day.

Ezaka comes into the matchup with 134 career wins which is second all-time on the program's wins list. Ezaka is three wins away from tying John Hughes '10 program-record of 137 wins.
MAAC MANIA
In the Bobcats' three MAAC dual matches, they have gone 27-0 in competition. The team has posted a 18-0 record in singles play against MAAC opponents and 9-0 in doubles competition.

The Bobcats have had major success from the No. 1 spot in doubles matches, going 8-3 in those matches.

Three Bobcats have already reached at least 10 singles wins on the season as Ezaka leads the team with 12 wins on the season, Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey) is second with 11 wins and Axel Stern (Tustin, California) has 10 wins. However, Quinnipiac has four players that are four or less singles wins away from 10 on the season. Freddie Zaretsky (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) and Austin Yannone (Severna Park, Maryland) each have nine wins, Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California) has eight wins and Jackson Koke (Calgary, Alberta) has six.

No matter if it is a singles or doubles match, in matches where he is in the No. 3 draw, Stern is undefeated (3-0).
