QU Men's Tennis' Stern and Rozenstein Advance to Finals on Day Two of CT State Championships

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac men's tennis continued play at the CT State Championships Saturday as Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey) and Axel Stern (Tustin, California) advanced to the finals of the Singles Draw 1A and Singles Draw 3B flights, respectively.
BOBCATS NOTES
- Rozenstein struck for two wins on his way to the Singles 1A Draw Finals that will be played Sunday.
- Rozenstein also struck for a Doubles Draw A victory paired with Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California).
- Stern picked up two victories in singles play, defeating Sacred Heart, 7-5, 6-0 and then defeating Boston College, 6-1, 6-1.
- Stern will play in the Singles 3B Draw Finals on Sunday.
- Austin Yannone (Serverna Park, Maryland) and Hielke Moore ( Fredericton, New Brunswick) scored three victories in the Doubles B Draw play on their way to the Doubles B flight finals.
- The duo dropped the finals contest to Sacred Heart in a hard-fought battle, 7-6.
