QU Men's Tennis Completes First Day at CT State Championships

NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - The Quinnipiac men's tennis team began play at the CT State Championships Friday with three different Bobcats obtaining multiple wins on the first day.
BOBCATS NOTES
- Julian Rozenstein (Marlboro, New Jersey) struck for a win the Singles Draw 1A tournament along with a Doubles Draw A victory paired with Patrick Cachapero (Loma Linda, California).
- Austin Yannone (Serverna Park, Maryland) and Hielke Moore ( Fredericton, New Brunswick) scored back-to-back victories in the Doubles B Draw.
- The duo defeated Sacred Heart, 6-4, and then followed up the 6-4 victory with a 7-5 victory in the next round.
- Rozenstein's victory was a 7-6, 6-2, victory over Aguilera of SJU.
- Cachapero and Rozenstein's victory in doubles play was a 6-3 victory.
- Axel Stern (Tustin, California) also picked up a victory in singles play, defeating Sacred Heart, 7-5, 6-0.
