Quinnipiac field hockey is back in action this week when it heads to Burlington, Vermont to take on the Catamounts of the University of Vermont on Friday, Sept. 9 before hosting the Leopards of Lafayette College on Sunday, Sept. 11.

QUINNIPIAC'S LAST TIME OUT
Quinnipiac is coming off a pair of losses during its Michigan trip this past weekend. The Bobcats lost to Central Michigan, 2-1 in overtime, before being dealt a 4-1 loss at Michigan State.
ALL-TIME AGAINST VERMONT
Quinnipiac has won all five meetings between the two teams, including last season's 4-3 win in Hamden. Lauren Belskie led the attack in that meeting, scoring twice, while Angie King and Haley Swartz also scored for the Bobcats.
SCOUTING THE VERMONT CATAMOUNTS
Vermont enters Friday's match-up with a 3-1 record, which includes wins against Central Michigan (2-1), La Salle (3-2, OT) and Northeastern (3-2), as well as a loss to Providence (1-3).
ALL-TIME AGAINST LAFAYETTE
Quinnipiac and Lafayette have met nine times, with the Leopards owning a 8-1 mark in the all-time series. Quinnipiac's only win in the series came on Sept. 26, 2010 when it topped Lafayette, 3-1, in Hamden.
SCOUTING THE LAFAYETTE LEOPARDS
Lafayette currently sits at 2-1 on the season and will face Yale on Saturday, Sept. 10 before facing the Bobcats on Sunday. The Leopards are coming off a 2-1 win against Longwood on Sept. 4 that followed a 3-0 loss to Monmouth on Sept. 2. Lafayette also topped Fairfield, 3-2, to open the season.

Quinnipiac field hockey will host a "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer" game against Lafayette on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 5:30 p.m. The "Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer" campaign is coordinated by Go4theGoal, a New Jersey based non-profit foundation that is dedicated to helping kids with cancer. Go4theGoal currently supports kids with cancer and their families from Yale New Haven Children's Hospital.

- van der Geest, Liza Welch and Ellen Colbourne are all tied for the team's assist-lead, with one each.
- In goal, Katelyn Arnold is 2-1 with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .500 save percentage.
THE BOBCATS AND THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
- Through the first two weeks of the regular season, Quinnipiac leads all NCAA Division I teams with six defensive saves. The Bobcats led the nation in 2015 with 21 as a team.
- The Bobcats also rank ninth with 9.50 saves per game.
- Quinnipiac senior Angie King (South Windsor, Connecticut) also leads the nation with three defensive saves. King won the 2015 statistical championship with 13 defensive saves.
- Freshman Olivia Golini (York, Maine) ranks13th nationally with 7.50 saves per game.

- Reilly became the first Quinnipiac player since Danielle Allan in 2014 to score in three consecutive games when she found the back of the cage against UMass Lowell, Central Michigan and Michigan State.
- Reilly has had a hand in all four of Quinnipiac's goals to date, scoring the first of the year, while picking up an assist on Dayna Barlow's goal.
- For her career, Reilly has accumulated 19 goals and eight assists for 46 points.
- Her next goal would make her the 12th player in Quinnipiac history to reach 20 goals in a career.
- She also sits four points shy of becoming the 10th player in Quinnipiac history to reach 50 career points.
- To date, there have been six players in Quinnipiac's history with 20 goals and 10 assists for their careers.
