Prior to Quinnipiac:
- Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Webster Thomas High School while she was also a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society
- Also awarded the Chemistry Achievement Award by the Rochester Section, Inc. of the American Chemical Society
- Lettered three times in cross country and 10 total letters in track and field
- Distinguished competitors as she was a four-time participant at the New York state meet
- Placed fifth in the Intersectional Relay at the state meet
- Individual sectional champion in 3000m in 2016
- Competed at the New Balance nationals in 2014 and 2015 for the 4x800m relay and 4xMile relay
- Named All-State (NY) as a sophomore
- Three-Time First Team All-Greater Rochester (2014-16)
- Three-Time First Team All-Section V (2014-16)
- Two-Time First Team All-Monroe County (2015-16)
- Helped lead Webster Thomas to three Section V Championships (2013-16), two Monroe Country Championships (2014-15) and two Division Championships (2013, 2015)
- Her best performances in high school included 5000m (18:25), 3000m (10:30.4) and 1500m (4:52.92)
