Played in 30 games, with 10 starts ... Averaged 10.8 points and 4.0 rebounds ... Finished with 1048 points after becoming the 39th Bobcat (and 13th at the Division I level) to reach the 1000-point milestone with 12 points at Canisius (2/10) .... Second in school history with 150 blocks ... Had 15 points at Manhattan (2/25), including a go-ahead basket with a minute left in the first overtime ... Led Quinnipiac with 17 points against Siena (1/21) ... Had 24 points, 17 in the second half, against Maine (11/26) ... Scored 18 points on 7-10 shooting against Brown (11/13), while adding four blocks ... Had a game-high 21 points on opening day in a 78-77 win against Dartmouth (11/11), adding a game-clinching block.
As a Junior in 2016-17:
Started all 31 games ... Averaged 13.0 points and 6.2 rebounds ... Blocked 52 shots, including five in the MAAC Tournament against Niagara (3/2) ... Scored 24 points and had nine rebounds at Marist (2/23) ... Had 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds at Manhattan (2/20) ... Had the game-clinching block with 0.4 seconds left in a 56-55 win over Saint Peter’s (2/18), to go along with a team-high tying 10 points ... Ranks fifth on QU’s single-season blocks list with 39 ... Tallied a career high 28 points on 11-17 shooting against Fairfield (2/13), including two foul shots with 13 seconds left in the first overtime to force a second extra session ... Played in all 30 games for Quinnipiac, including 16 starts ... Started last 14 games of the regular season ... Averaged 3.2 points and 2.7 rebounds per game ... Tallied 30 blocked shots on the season ... Had season-highs of 12 points and nine rebounds at Iona (2/15) ... Had 11 points on 5-8 shooting in a win over Manhattan (1/23) ... Blocked a season-high four shots in a win over Marist (1/11) ... Pulled down six rebounds (five offensive) against Rider (1/15).
Before Quinnipiac:
The first local Connecticut recruit signed by Quinnipiac since the 2010-11 season ... Played at Hillhouse High School where he led the Academics to 26-1 record and a Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) Class LL Title in 2013, which was the team’s second consecutive championship appearance... Earned a spot on the 2013 CIAC All-State Team at the end of the season … In 2013-14, attended Putnam Science Academy which compiled a 29-5 record and an appearance in the semifinals of the National Prep School Championships … Also a member of the Connecticut Select AAU Basketball Team … Had a big weekend at the Hall of Fame National Invitational Tournament in Springfield (2014), earning a selection to the All-Tournament team. ... An Honor Roll student.
