QU's Season Ends in MAAC Quarterfinals

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac men's soccer team fell in the quarterfinal round of the MAAC Men's Soccer Championships to Marist 2-1.
The Red Foxes scored early, just 17 minutes in to take a 1-0 lead. The two teams would trade chances for the next 30 minutes before Marist was awarded a penalty kick that they capitalized on to make it 2-0 in the 58th minute.
With just under 30 minutes left, Marist received a red card, giving the Bobcats a man-up opportunity for the rest of the match. Ramesh Delsouz was able to capitalize on one scoring chance, finding the back of the net on free kick in the 72nd minute. QU's efforts would fall short as Marist made a last second save to secure the victory.
