Peralta Leads Bobcats After Day One At Red Bandana Intercollegiate

CANTON, Mass. – Quinnipiac women's golf finished day one at the Red Bandana Intercollegiate in third place out of 17 teams. Day one wrapped up with 36 holes of golf being played at the Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass on Monday.
Graduate student Leyeen Peralta led the charge for the Bobcats as she finished day one in a tie for fifth place. Peralta finished a +5 after shooting a 77 in round one and 72 in round two.
First Year Natalie Spiska came in right behind Peralta with a +6 and in a tie for eighth place.
Samantha Galantini wrapped up her first day of competition as a Bobcat by finishing at +9 and tied for 18th place.
Aimee Uchida and Alexia Egdahl rounded of the group and they finished day one in a tie for 33rd place and 42nd place, respectively.
The Bobcats will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 26 to wrap up play at the Blue Hill Country Club.
