WEST POINT, NY – Quinnipiac women's tennis readies for its second tournament of the fall season this weekend, traveling to Army for the West Point Invite.

WEST POINT, NY – Quinnipiac women's tennis readies for its second tournament of the fall season this weekend, traveling to Army for the West Point Invite.
OPENING WEEKEND
- Quinnipiac competed in action against Army, Fairfield and UConn from Sept. 8-10 in Storrs at the QU Invitational.
- The Bobcats won seven out of eight singles matches, and three out of four doubles matches during Day 2 against Fairfield. Caitlin Flower, Anagha Shankar, Caroline Schulson, Dominique Yeo, Jenna Sloan, and Ella Lewis all won their first matches as Bobcats.
- Vera Sekerina went 2-0 in singles matches for the entire weekend – winning on both Day 2 and Day 3.
- Anagha Shankar / Dominique Yeo won a pair of doubles matches during the full weekend.
- Quinnipiac women's tennis won its second consecutive MAAC title on April 23, 2023, defeating Fairfield by the final score of 4-1 at Mercer County Tennis Courts.
- The Bobcats went 13-8 (6-0 MAAC) during the regular season in 2022-23, earning their ninth-straight MAAC regular season title.
- QU has now won seven MAAC championships/advanced to the NCAA Tournament seven times since joining the league (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23) under Head Coach/Director of Tennis Paula Miller.
- Under the guidance of Head Coach Miller, the Bobcats have earned at least a share of the regular season MAAC title nine straight times since joining the MAAC in 2013-14. Miller has been named MAAC Coach of the Year seven times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023). She has led Quinnipiac to six MAAC Tournament titles and six NCAA Tournament appearances (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022).
- Jordan Bradley, Nikole Lisovyy, Alexandra Luehrman, and Vera Sekerina will all return for QU in 2023-24.
- Caitlin Flower, Ella Lewis, Caroline Schulson, Anagha Shankar, Jenna Sloan, and Dominique Yeo have all joined the Bobcats for the new season.
