Bobcats Wrap Campaign at West Palm Regional

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team concluded play at the Palm Beach Regional hosted by Florida Atlantic at the PGA National Resort on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bobcats finished the event shooting a team score of 937 (+73) for the event, to finish in 12th place at the regional. Michigan State took home first place, while Duke, Texas, Northwestern and LSU advanced to the NCAA Championship as well.
Quinnipiac shot a 300 (+12) in the final round, which was better than what USF (304; +16) and No. 39 California (301; +13), while tying the round with No. 19 UCF
Leeyen Peralta led Quinnipiac's grouping, finishing in 41st at the Palm Beach Regional after scoring 226 (+11). Aimee Uchida followed in 57th, saving her best round for last as she shot a 74 (+2) to finish the event at 235 (+19), logging four birdies in the final round.
In her final round as a Bobcat, senior Kaylee Sakoda shot a 75 (+3) to finish in 60th after scoring 238 (+22). Fuge Zhang and Meg Yoshida rounded out Quinnipiac's grouping, placing 62nd and 64th, respectively. Zhang concluded the event with a score of 241 (+25) as she closed with a 75 (+3), while Yoshida shot 243 (+27).
