NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac baseball team continues its MAAC slate, as the Bobcats travel to New Rochelle for a three-game set with Iona this weekend. First pitch from game one is set for Friday at 3 p.m. at City Park.

- QU returns to action after coming up short in a comeback attempt against Yale this past Wednesday, 8-7

- He opened the week with a 2-for-4 performance against Hartford on April 12, adding a double, two walks and three RBI's in the walk-off victory over the Hawks

- Junior Brandyn Garcia has assumed the role of ace of the staff this season
- Garcia is 4-5 on the season and boasts 57 strikeouts in 45.2 innings pitched
- Garcia has earned a win in four of his last seven starts, with his most recent win coming in a 5-2 victory over Canisius
- In the start, Garcia struck out nine and allowed just one earned run in the victory
