NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac track & field team took first place overall at the Jack Maloney Invitational hosted by Southern Connecticut State. The Bobcats notched a total of 186 team points, and Adelphi followed with 106 in second place. Quinnipiac had an excellent day, taking first place in 12 events, which is a team high this season.

Individual Results - Track
- First-year Jordan Mayo took first place in the 100m dash with a time of 13.19.
- In the 100m hurdles, junior Symone Foster placed first with a time of 14.59.
- Junior Kalli'ana Botelho tallied a time of 26.03 in the 200m dash, taking first place and recording a new season-best time.
- First-year Alyssa Romagnoli placed first in the 400m dash with a time of 59.62.
- Junior Caitlyn Halloran recorded a time of 1:07.28 in the 400m hurdles. In the same event, Foster came in fourth place with a time of 1:08.78.
- Senior Brooke Hagen tallied a time of 2:20.65 in the 800m, finishing in first place. Junior Mia Pestle finished right behind Hagen in second place with a time of 2:20.81. The Bobcats took the next four places, making up the top six in the event. Junior Emily Young, first-year Asia Mercier, junior Clare Veverka and first-year Jada Dennis finished in third, fourth, fifth and sixth place, respectively.
- Junior Shannon Goria placed first in the 1500m with a time of 5:01.48. Junior Katie Bradley recorded a time of 5:32.56 in seventh place in the same event. Sophomore Cassidy Phillips finished in eighth with a time of 5:33.49, and senior Danielle Marcone finished in ninth with a time of 5:33.75.
- First-year Liv DiStefano took first place in the 3000m with a time of 10:25.82. Sophomore Marisa Keiser finished in sixth place (11:13.97), junior Kate Gihorski notched a seventh place finish (11:19.66) and senior Samantha Leal took eighth place (11:27.74).
- The 4x400m relay team of Scullin, Romagnoli, Del Mundo and Hagen tallied a time of 4:04.14, which was good for first place.
- Graduate student Mikah Maples had a solid day in the field. She took first place in the discus throw with a 39.48m mark. Maples also took first place in the javelin throw with a 42.90m mark, and she finished in first place in the shot put (12.58m).
- Sophomore Laura Thomas finished in sixth place in the discus throw (22.75m), and sophomore Amanda Minervino placed seventh (21.60m). Thomas also finished in fifth place with a 29.17m mark, and Minervino tallied a mark of 34.80m in second place.
- First-year Grace Davis took first in the high jump (1.45m).
- Graduate student Meaghan Scullin tallied a first place finish in the long jump with a 5.75m mark. Botelho took third with a 5.47m mark, a new season-high, and senior Britney Del Mundo finished in fifth with a 5.26m mark.
- Del Mundo placed second in the triple jump (11.49m).
- The Bobcats will compete at the MAAC Championships May 8-9 in Edison, N.J.
