Women's Lacrosse Downs Hartford, 16-9

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse earned its second win of the 2020 season after downing the Hartford Hawks, 16-9.
The Bobcats came out firing in the first half and scored four goals in less than four minutes to take a 4-0 lead. The Hawks cut the Bobcats' lead to four goals early in the second half, but the home team would hold the lead and earn the decisive 16-9 win.
Senior attacker Megan Szawlowski scored three times and tallied an assist in the win. First-year Desiree Kleberg notched four assists.
In the net for the Bobcats, senior Allie Kelsey recorded six saves with five goals against in her second win of the season.

- Szawlowski went 1-1 on free position shots in the win. The senior attacker has recorded five multi-point games in a row this season. She leads the team with 14 goals and two assists this year.
- Victoria Bobinski led the team with four caused turnovers.
- Szawlowski recorded her fifth straight multi-goal game this season.
- The Bobcats scored two goals while they had a player advantage.
- Quinnipiac scored a season-high 16 goals against the Hawks.
- Quinnipiac outshot Hartford 48-23.
- The Bobcats won the ground ball battle as they picked up 26 to Hartford's 20.
- The home team went 20-21 on clears and Hartford went 15-28.
