Goalie Allie Kelsey Records Career-High 15 Saves
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team fell in a non-conference clash against the Wagner Seahawks by a score of 19-10 on Saturday afternoon.
Senior goalkeeper Allie Kelsey made a career-high 15 saves in the loss and Three Bobcats scored their first career goals in the game this afternoon as first years Amy Nicoloff, Sophia Iaccino and Emily Feeney found the back of the net.

- Wagner started the game on a 3-0 run to take an early lead in the first half.
- Sophomore midfielder Sophie Spencer got the Bobcats on the board as she scored her second goal of the season to cut the Wagner lead to 3-1.
- Quinnipiac called timeout after Wagner went another 3-0 run to extend their lead to 6-2.
- First-year midfielder Amy Nicoloff scored her first career goal with 2:16 left in the first half to cut the Wagner lead to 10-4.
- The Bobcats finished the first half on a 3-0 run after first-year midfielder Sophia Iaccino scored just before the end of the half to cut the Wagner lead to 10-5.
- After Wagner opened up the half with an early goal, the Bobcats answered right back with goals from senior attacker Megan Szawlowski and Nicoloff to bring Quinnipiac within four.
- The Bobcats went on a 3-0 run in the second half to brinig them within 15-10. Junior midfielder Cameron Parry scored two goals during that run and first-year midfielder Emily Feeney found the back of the net for the first time in her collegiate career.
- Three Bobcats scored their first career goals in the game this afternoon as Nicoloff (2) Iaccino and Feeney found the back of the net.
- First-year defender Melissa Murphy picked up four ground balls, which lead the team. Four Bobcats picked up two ground balls for the second-most on the team.
- Senior goalkeeper Allie Kelsey made a career-high 15 saves in the loss.
- Wagner outshot the Bobcats 41-27, including a 36-18 edge in shots on goal.
- The Seahawks picked up 27 ground balls compared to the Bobcats 19.
- Szawlowski recorded her second multi-goal game of the season as she also scored two goals in the season opener at Bryant.
- The Bobcats head to Long Island for a Sunday showdown with LIU on February 23rd. Game time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
