Stern/Yannone Each Win Singles Match, Stern/Martinovic Earn Doubles VIctory

PROVIDENCE, RI – Quinnipiac men's tennis fell at Brown, 5-2, on Sunday afternoon in the Bobcats' 2020 spring opener.

Seniors Axel Stern and Austin Yannone led the way for the Bobcats, each winning a singles match against the Bears. Stern and Aleksa Martinovic also earned a No. 2 doubles win.

Notes

Stern moves to 8-4 so far in 2019-20 in singles play. The senior now has 16 total wins this season. Stern defeated Brown's Komatineni in three sets, winning the third set 10-6.
Yannone is now 4-3 in singles action this season, as the senior has recorded eight victories in total. Yannone defeated Arocho in three sets, winning the final set by a 10-8 mark.
Stern and Martinovic improve to 8-2 as a duo in 2019-20.
