Stern/Martinovic Win in No. 2 Doubles for Second-Straight Day

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis competed in its second event of the 2020 spring schedule on Monday at the North Haven Health and Raquet Club, as the Bobcats fell vs. Binghamton by the final score of 5-2.

Axel Stern and Aleksa Martinovic won a doubles match for the second-straight day, and Patrick Cachapero and Alester Magalit each earned a win in singles play to lead Quinnipiac.

NOTES

Cachapero earned a two-set victory in No. 2 singles. The senior now has five total singles victories so far in 2019-20.
Sophomore Alester Magalit also earned a two set win, as his victory came in No. 3 singles play. Magalit now has seven singles wins in 2019-20.
With a 7-5 win in No. 2 doubles, Axel Stern and Aleksa Martinovic move to an impressive 9-2 as a duo this season. Stern and Martinovic are now 2-0 in doubles play to begin the spring season.
