No. 4 Acrobatics and Tumbling Wins Fourth Straight vs. Alderson Broaddus

Bobcats Record 274.645-255.940 Win in Final Meet of Regular Season
HAMDEN, Conn. – The No. 4 Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling team celebrated senior day in style Saturday afternoon as the Bobcats won their first consecutive meet with a 274.645-255.940 victory over the Alderson Broaddus Battlers at the People's United Center.
With the victory, the Bobcats went undefeated against ECAC competition for a third straight season since the ECAC began sponsoring the sport.
Quinnipiac recorded two scores of 10.00 in Saturday's meet in the toss heat of the compulsory event as well as the open toss later in the meet. The pair of 10.00s was a first for Quinnipiac this season.
At the conclusion of the meet, the Bobcats recognized their seven seniors for all of their hard work and dedication to the program over the past four years with a celebration to honor them.

- The Bobcats recorded season-best scores in six separate heats as they had a 9.70 in the seven-element heat of acro, a 9.70 in the synchronized heat of pyramid, a 9.70 in the 450 Salto heat of the toss event, a 10.00 in the Open Toss heat, a 9.400 in the duo pass of tumbling and a 9.525 in the aerial pass of tumbling
- Quinnipiac also tied season-bests with a 9.90 in the pyramid heat of compulsory, 10.00 in the toss heat of compulsory and a 9.700 in the six-element pass of tumbling while the score of 29.20 in both acro and toss also tied season-bests
- Melanie Mancini (Waterbury, Connecticut) was part the top for Quinnipiac's pair of 10.00s in the toss heat of compulsory and the open toss while her 9.700 in the six-element tumbling pass tied her season-high from the previous week
- Asia Johnson (New Britain, Connecticut), Camren Diaz (Oxford, Connecticut), Allie Williams (Poughkeepsie, New York) and Erin Redding (Farmington, Connecticut) were also a part of both of Quinnipiac's 10.00 scores
- Junior Chelsea Werner (Shoreham, N.Y.) returned to the aerial pass heat of tumbling and recorded a season-best score of 9.525
