Oppenheimer Earns Sixth Place Finish

HARTFORD, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's golf sent three freshmen to the Hartford Invitational this weekend and Casey Oppenheimer earned a sixth-place finish with a final round 79 (+7).

Darby Lillibridge was 11th after a career-best 76 (+2) and Amanda Tully finished in a tie for 12th with a two-day score of 166 (+22).

NOTES

Oppenheimer opened play with an 82 (+10) in the opening round and followed it up with a 79 (+7) on Sunday.
The improved round moved Oppenheimer from a tie for 10th to a solo sixth-place finish.
Lillibridge improved significantly from round one to round two, lowering her score by 13 strokes and jumping five spots on the individual leaderboard.
Her second round 76 (+4) was tied for the fourth-lowest score of the tournament.
Tully shot an 82 (+10) in the opening round and needed two more strokes in round two. She dropped from a tie for 10th to a tie for 12th from Monday to Tuesday.

UPCOMING EVENTS
The Bobcats head to Kissimmee, Florida this week to compete in the 2019 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships. The tournament takes place from Thursday, April 18 to Saturday, April 20.
