Bobcats Outscore Purple Eagles, 14-3, to Extend MAAC Winning Streak to Five Games
NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Liam Scafariello (Southington, Connecticut) belted two home runs in the first game of Friday's doubleheader and the Quinnipiac baseball team had two strong pitching performances as the Bobcats swept the Niagara Purple Eagles, 7-1 and 7-2, at Bobo Field.
Scafariello hit a three-run home run and a two-run home run for his first multi-home run game of the season to lead the Bobcats in game one as Tyler Poulin (Randolph, New Jersey) didn't allow a run through eight innings of work to dominate the Purple Eagles on the mound.

Chris Enns (Canton, Connecticut) struck out nine batters in game two as he shut down the Niagara hitters in his six innings of work.
The Bobcats improved to 5-0 in MAAC play with the doubleheader sweep on Saturday, good for Quinnipiac's second straight 5-0 start in league play after opening up with eight straight wins in 2018.
