Bobcats Tie Program Record for Lowest 54-Hole Score
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - Quinnipiac women's golf posted a 301 in the final round at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic on Tuesday afternoon, led by Queenie Lai's even-par 72. The Bobcats finished 23rd of 49 teams and Lai finished in a tie for 21st overall out of more than 250 competitors.

- Lai's 72 (E) makes her the second Quinnipiac player of all-time (Alexandra Sazhin) to post multiple rounds of par or better in her career.
- Her 54-hole score of 218 (+2) also ties Sazhin for the lowest 54-hole score in program history.
- Lai birdied the 7th, 13th, and 18th holes and only two blemishes on her scorecard, while parring 13 holes on the day. She was one of 22 golfers in the tournament to play the par 4s at +1 or better and was tied for ninth with 40 pars in the three rounds.
- After starting +4 through her first five holes, Alexandra Sazhin (New Fairfield, Connecticut) played the last 13 holes at -1 for a final round 75 (+3). The junior tallied three birdies in all three rounds of the tournament and now stands just eight behind teammate Luciana Tobia for the most in program history.
- Sazhin was one of just 22 golfers to play the par 3s even or better for the tournament.
- Tobia (La Paz, Bolivia) played her best round of the tournament in Tuesday's final round, playing her first 11 holes at +1 and finishing the day with a 76 (+4).
- Elena Lopez (Clarence, New York) nearly matched her opening round score (77) with a final round mark of 78 (+6). Lopez recorded pars in each of her first five holes and seven of her last nine.
- Elena Ybarra (Madrid, Spain) played her first 15 holes at 5+ and recorded at least one birdie in all three rounds this week. Ybarra finished the day with an 83 (+11) after finishing her first two rounds at +6 and +9.
