NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac men's tennis completed the third and final day of play at the 2019 CT State Championships, as the Bobcats earned four total wins.
Patrick Cachapero, Aleksa Martinovic, Hielke Moore and Alester Magalit all won a singles match during Day 3 action for the Bobcats.

Patrick Cachapero, Aleksa Martinovic, Hielke Moore and Alester Magalit all won a singles match during Day 3 action for the Bobcats.
NOTES – Day 1
- Hielke Moore now has four singles wins in 2019, as he won in straight sets over Yale's Gale.
- Aleksa Martinovic also won in straight sets (6-4, 6-4), good for his third singles victory of the fall semester.
- Patrick Cachapero won in three sets, taking the final set 6-2.
- Austin Yanonne won in convincing fashion (6-1, 6-2) over MAAC-foe Pariznek of Fairfield.
- Quinnipiac went 3-1 in doubles action for the day.
- Patrick Cachapero/Hielke Moore now have four doubles victories together, earning a win as a duo for the second straight weekend.
- Axel Stern/Aleksa Martinovic won their fifth doubles match of the 2019 fall season, after the duo won twice together during the QU Duals last weekend.
- Austin Yannone/Bryan Schick won in convincing fashion over BC's duo by the final score of 6-2.
- Hielke Moore earned his fifth singles victory of 2019, defeating Yale's Sou in three sets.
- Alester Magalit won his first singles matchup of the tournament, earning a three-set win over in-conference rival Fairfied (Olive-Blanco)
- Aleksa Martinovic now has four singles victories, as he has won a match in each of the first two days of the event.
- Axel Stern won his first match of the weekend, winning in three sets.
- Austin Yannone won his second event of the weekend, earning a two-set win over Dartmouth's Pritzker.
- Austin Yannone and Bryan Schick also paired to win two doubles matches – giving them an identical three doubles wins.
- Axel Stern and Aleksa Martinovic won two more doubles matches together, giving them three doubles wins together in the tournament.
- Hielke Moore and Patrick Cachapero won a doubles match together on Saturday, as did Clark Davis and Alester Magalit.
- Patrick Cachapero won his second singles contest of the CT State Championships, as he also defeated Pritzker of Dartmouth on Friday in three sets.
- Aleksa Martinovic now has five singles victories in 2019, as he won a singles match in each of the three days of the event.
- Hielke Moore also won three matches in singles play during the weekend, stretching his 2019 win total in singles action to six.
- Alester Magalit earned his second-straight singles win in the tournament, winning in convincing fashion in two sets (6-1, 6-0).
