GAME NOTES
LAST TIME OUT
The Bobcats hit the road to Lowell, Massachusetts on Thursday evening to meet the UMass Lowell River Hawks. Despite seeing a one-goal lead disappear on three separate occasions, Quinnipiac secured the victory on a double-overtime goal by redshirt junior captain Kylie Lance (Stow, Massachusetts).
SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
Triglione's goal at UMass Lowell was her third of the season and her career. Two of her three goals have come in her home state, as she scored the first of the season in the 2018 opener at Boston College. Lance and sophomore Hannah Reiter are also Massachusetts natives and scored at Lowell on Thursday.
STRIKING GOLD
Kelsey Goldring (Armonk, New York), the 2017 MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year, scored her first goal of the season and sixth of her career at UMass Lowell.
KYLIE IN THE CLUTCH
Lance scored the third goal of her career on Thursday, as the defender has now tallied once in each of her three seasons as a Bobcat. All three of her career goals are of the game-winning variety.
SAVING THE BEST FOR (SECOND TO) LAST
The win over UMass Lowell was the fifth time in the last six seasons that the Bobcats have earned a win or a draw in the second-to-last game before the start of MAAC play.
NO-LIVIA
Junior goalkeeper Olivia Myszewski (Elm Grove, Wisconsin) posted the ninth clean sheet of her career in Quinnipiac's win over Bryant and earned her 19th career win at UMass Lowell. She ranks sixth in program history in both clean sheets and victories.
LENDING A HELPING HAND
With returning players accounting for 2.79 assists per game from last season, the Bobcats rank fourth in all Division I women's soccer in returning assists per game in 2018. The Bobcats had an assist on all three goals against Bryant, including a rare two-assist goal when Selena Salas (Elche-Alicante, Spain) and Madison Borowiec (Windsor, Connecticut).
