EUGENE, Oregon - The Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling team heads west this week for two big NCATA matchups. Quinnipiac will start its two-game road trip in a tri-meet against Oregon and Gannon on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 5:00 PM EST (2:00 PM PST). The Bobcats will then travel south to face the Azusa Pacific Cougars on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 PM EST (7:00 PM PST).

EUGENE, Oregon - The Quinnipiac acrobatics and tumbling team heads west this week for two big NCATA matchups. Quinnipiac will start its two-game road trip in a tri-meet against Oregon and Gannon on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at 5:00 PM EST (2:00 PM PST). The Bobcats will then travel south to face the Azusa Pacific Cougars on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 10:00 PM EST (7:00 PM PST).
Last Meet (Quinnipiac 284.010, King 254.635)
- Quinnipiac was victorious in all six events and only fell in one heat on the afternoon.
- Jenna Adams and Erin Redding led the Bobcats with nine wins apiece.
- Camren Diaz tallied eight wins for Quinnipiac in the victory.
- Abby Ziser , Melanie Mancini, Samantha Gormley, and Siobhan Robinson each earned seven wins.
- Alexandria Barnes picked up six wins on the day and Alyssa O'Connor, Kaitlyn Kelly , and Allie Williams each won five.
- Jenna Capristo and Cassidy Osher each earned two victories in the tumbling event.
Bobcat Storylines
- The Bobcats were selected fourth in the NCATA Preseason Poll with 232 total points in the poll behind Baylor, Oregon and Azusa Pacific.
- The Bobcats are led by senior captains, Jenna Adams , Samantha Gormley , Alyssa O'Connor and Abby Ziser.
- Quinnipiac will look to return to the NCATA Semifinals for the third-straight year and the fifth time in program history this year.
- The NCATA National Championships will be held in Erie, Pennsylvania at Gannon University April 27-29.
- Quinnipiac is coming off a six-win 2017 season, where the Bobcats fell to eventual NCATA National Champion Baylor, 279.325-273.945, in the NCATA Semifinals.
- The Bobcats advanced to the NCATA Semifinals after a thrilling win against Alderson Broaddus that saw the Bobcats shake off a halftime deficit to win eight of the last nine heats and the Team event. Quinnipiac defeated Alderson Broaddus, 270.645-264.755
- Quinnipiac won two NCATA Individual National Championships last year.
- Head coach Mary Ann Powers was named the ECAC Acrobatics & Tumbling League Co-Coach of the Year in 2017.
- Melanie Mancini was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year
- Alyssa O'Connor , Kelsey Rule , Allee Tallman , Jenna Adams and Noelle Brasier were named to the all-conference team.
