Allison Kuhn, Brianna Fitzgerald Net Hat Tricks as QU Women's Lacrosse Upends Manhattan 11-6

HAMDEN, Conn. - Junior attack Allison Kuhn (four goals, one assist) and sophomore midfielder Brianna Fitzgerald (three goals, one assist) each had had tricks to a season-high in points as the Quinnipiac women's lacrosse team defeated Manhattan 11-6 in its first conference home game on Saturday afternoon at Quinnipiac Lacrosse Stadium.

- Junior attack Allison Kuhn matched her previous season high of four goals, which she had against Gardner Webb, and set a new season high in points with five
- Sophomore midfielder Brianna Fitzgerald had her first hat trick of the season after scoring her previous high of two goals last weekend at Monmouth.
- With the score tied 4-4 late in the half, the Bobcats scored two goals 10 seconds apart, with sophomore attack Kayla Moreau scoring on a free position shot with 5:13 left, and Fitzgerald scoring her second on the ensuing draw control
- The Bobcats took a 6-4 lead into the break, and neither team scored for the first 11 minutes of the second half before Kuhn made it 7-4 with 18:51 off a feed from senior Loren Antonacci.
- Manhattan answered that goal off the draw control with Molly Fitzpatrick scoring to make it 7-5.
- The Bobcats stretched the lead to 9-5 with goals from freshman attack Sydney Cowell and Kuhn less than minute apart at the 10:12 and 9:19 marks.
- Manhattan closed to within 9-6, but Fitzgerald sealed it with her third goal with 1:24 remaining.
- Sophomore Haley Everding led the defense with three caused turnovers while drawing the primary assignment on Manhattan leading scorer Sarah Lang (25 goals) and holding her to no points.
- Senior Kyle Larkin had 10 saves in goal for the Bobcats.
