KENNESAW, Ga. - The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team broke open a 4-4 game with 20 minutes to play with eight straight goals over a span of 13:33 to take a 12-5 win over Quinnipiac on Wednesday afternoon.

- Quinnipiac freshman midfielder Maya Feigenbaum tied the score at 4-4 with 20:43 to play off a feed from sophomore attack Ashley Bobinski.
- Izzy Palermo broke the tie at the 19:54 mark for Kennesaw State to give the Owls the lead for good, and then capped off a seven-goal explosion over a span of 9:05 when she scored again with 10:49 to go to make the score 11-4
- Siena Gore scored her game-high fourth goal of the game at the 6:21 mark to extend the scoring run to eight straight goals.
- Bobinski finally ended the Bobcat drought with a goal with 48 seconds left, making her the fifth different goal scorer for Quinnipiac.
- After Marissa Gore scored 27 seconds into the game, sophomore attack Kayla Moreau and senior attack Loren Antonacci had two straight goals to give the Bobcats a 2-1 lead with 18:45 left in the half.
- Kennesaw State tied the score, but freshman midfielder Avery Drouin was able to put the Bobcats back in front with 4:39 on the first half clock.
- The Owls were able to cap off a low scoring first half when Connor Zophy leveled things with just two seconds left to make the score 3-3 going into the break.
- Quinnipiac had limited offensive chances, as they were held to just 13 shots on the afternoon, 12 of which were on target.
- Senior Kyle Larkin had 14 saves for the Bobcats
