HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's rugby team returns home this Saturday to play host to the Brown Bears at 1:00 PM at the Quinnipiac Rugby Field. The Bobcats are in search of their third win of 2018.
LAST TIME OUT
The Bears are riding high after a 38-27 win on September 22nd over West Chester. Brown is currently 2-1, with its lone loss of the season coming against Dartmouth, 98-7. Besides the victory over West Chester, Brown also has a victory over Sacred Heart, 26-19.
OH CAPTAINS MY CAPTAINS
Roskopf and junior Mikah Maples (Mowequa, Illinois) has combined for 11 tries so far this season. Roskopf struck for the first try of the game against NDC after ripping off a three-try performance in the Bobcats' first victory of 2018 against Norwich. The All-American currently leads the Bobcats with six tries this season. Maples had four-game try streak snapped this past weekend against Harvard. The junior captain currently has five tries.

Freshman Margot Vella (Leppington, Australia) has made three trips to the try zone so far this season. The speedy wing has burst onto the scene as a big-time player for the Bobcats scoring tries against Harvard, Norwich and NDC this season.
MCKENNA HAZ IT ALL UNDER CONTROL
Haz was 3-for-3 on Saturday afternoon against Harvard, pushing her season total to 14 successful tries.

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's rugby team returns home this Saturday to play host to the Brown Bears at 1:00 PM at the Quinnipiac Rugby Field. The Bobcats are in search of their third win of 2018.
LAST TIME OUT
- Quinnipiac's comeback came up short as the Bobcats fell to the Harvard Crimson, 24-21, on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Bobcats fell to 2-3 on the season and the Crimson advanced to 3-1 on the season with the win.
- Senior Emily Roskopf (Dublin, California) recorded one try in the final minute of play, pushing the captain's season total to six, leading all Bobcats.
- Freshman Allison Koenig's (Waukesha, Wisconsin) try to give the Bobcats the early 7-0 lead was the her second career try. Her first try came a few weeks ago in Quinnipiac's victory over Notre Dame College.
- Senior Caitria Sands (Essex, Vermont) scored her first try of 2018 in the second half and now has over 10 in her career.
- Freshman Mckenna Haz (Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia) struck for three good conversions on the day to push her 2018 total to 14.
