HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac field hockey team fell in a highly-contested game against Monmouth, 3-2, at the Quinnipiac Field Hockey Stadium. The Bobcats' offensive efforts were led by Valerie Perkins (Mohegan Lake, New York) and Michelle Federico (Cheshire, Connecticut) who each struck for goals for Quinnipiac.

Perkins led the Bobcats with three points for the afternoon after scoring her team-leading third goal of the year while also setting up Federico's second of the season.
Felicia Costanzo (Yorktown Heights, New York) assisted on Perkins' goal for her first point of the season.
Livy Golini (York, Maine) stopped seven of Monmouth's 10 shots on goal.
