The Quinnipiac University women's golf team will travel to Bryan, Texas to compete in the program's first NCAA Regional on May 5-7 at Traditions Club in College Station, Texas. The Bobcats clinched the 18th seed in the Bryan Regional after capturing the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship.

Traditions Club is a private club, residential community and home to the Texas A&M Men's and Women's Golf Teams located in the shadow of Texas A&M University an in the heart of The Research Valley, being nestled next to the new Texas A&M Health Science Center.
The NCAA Bryan Region Field
UCLA earned the top seed in the Bryan Regional, followed by Georgia, Arizona, Kent State, Furman, Texas A&M, Texas Christian, Texas, Southern Methodist, Louisville, Miami (Fla.), Tulane, Campbell, Indiana, Texas State, Delaware and Lamar. Quinnipiac received the No. 18 seed. Six teams and three of the six golfers competing as individuals will advance to the NCAA Championship on May 20-25 in Eugene, Oregon.
The Bobcats Last Time Out
The Bobcats clinched the automatic bid after winning the 2016 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship on April 24. It will be the Bobcats' first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history after the sport was added at Quinnipiac in 2010. The 2016 season also marked the third season of competition in the MAAC.
Record Breakers
In winning the conference championship, the Bobcats did so in record-breaking fashion. Quinnipiac posted a combined 933 ( 69) at Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Orlando, Florida to break the year-old record set by Albany (937) at last season's conference tournament.

Freshman Luciana Tobia (La Paz, Bolivia) won medalist honors with the best round in Quinnipiac's postseason history to win Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year accolades. Tobia was named to the All-MAAC team, along with classmate Julia Kemmling(Berlin, Connecticut) and Taylor Lambrou (Baldwin, New York), who also finished in the Top 10. Head coach John O'Connor was honored with the Coach of the Year Award, his second of his career.
