The Quinnipiac women's tennis team will play their final two matches of the home season on Wednesday, Apr. 13, 2016 vs. the Monmouth Hawks before hosting the Marist College Red Foxes in the home finale on Sunday, Apr. 17 at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
All-Time Series vs. Monmouth
The Bobcats are 4-0 in their four matches against the Hawks dating back to the 2002 season when the Bobcats met for the first time. Quinnipiac has not even dropped a single individual match, winning all four with a 7-0 score. The last time these two teams met came last season in West Long Branch, with the Bobcats winning 7-0. Sydney Young, Rachel Horton and Sophia Dzulynsky each won two matches while Jacqueline Raynor set the program record for wins.

Monmouth comes into Wednesday's match with a 5-12 record a 2-4 record in MAAC play. The Hawks are coming off a 5-2 win against the Fairfield Stags on Sunday. No. 1 singles player Adriana Armendariz leads the team with 13 wins, going 13-6 this season and boasting a 12-5 record at No. 1 in dual matches. Marist comes into Sunday's Match is a 5-1 record in MAAC play and 6-11 record overall. The Red Foxes had a three-match winning streak snapped with a loss to Niagara on senior day on Saturday, Apr. 9. Claire Schmitz leads the team with a 12-10 record in singles play while Chloe Lant is 11-5 and Karlene Pang is 10-13. Pang has come on strong as of late, boosting her No. 1 singles record to 5-10. In doubles play, Lant and Pang lead the team with a 7-5 record.

The Bobcats are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Massachusetts Minutewomen on Friday, April 8. Rachel Horton picked up the lone win for the Bobcats as her match was retired in the second set while Jennifer Lu nearly pulled away with the win, needing win won more set before the match was clinched.
Dominating the MAAC
Quinnipiac has dominated the MAAC since joining the league in the 2013-14 season, going an impressive 23-0 through their last league win vs. Niagara on April 2. The Bobcats have been 8-0 in each of the past two regular season and are now 3-0 this season.
Double Digits
With eight wins this season, the Bobcats are just two wins shy of winning 10 or more matches for the sixth consecutive season. In addition to the double digit wins, the Bobcats have won no fewer than eight matches in every season since the 2003-04 season when they finished 6-11.
Cheers to 100
Sophia Dzulynsky is approaching an impressive milestone with 100 career wins at Quinnipiac, needing just two more to reach the feat. While the Bobcats were on their Florida trip, Dzulynsky won the 100th match of her career including her six wins at Syracuse in her freshman season. Dzulynsky would become the 20th player in program history with 100 wins in a Quinnipiac uniform. Dzulynsky's 62 doubles wins at Quinnipiac are tied for 10th all-time.
Young and the Restless
Sydney Young is also moving in on an impressive win total as she has won 91 career matches, approaching the 100 win mark. After missing the first half of the season, Young has come on to win 10 matches this spring, including two wins in MAAC play
Lululemon
Jennifer Lu nearly picked up a big win against UMass as she was up 6-3, 5-3 at No. 3 singles when the match was clinched by the Minutewomen. Lu has had an impressive freshman season, going 25-19 for the second most wins among the freshman class and the fourth most wins on the team.
