The Quinnipiac men's tennis team is heading down south for its annual spring break trip to Florida this week where they will play five matches over three days against colleges from all over the country.
All-Time Against Northern Illinois
Quinnipiac is 0-2 all time against the Northern Illinois Huskies, most recently facing off last season on March 8. Quinnipiac fell, 5-2, in the match but Kei Ezaka picked up two wins for the Bobcats. Julian Rozenstein picked up the other point with a win at No. 4 singles. The Bobcats and Huskies only other matchup came on March 12, 2012 where the Huskies won, 6-1.
Scouting the Huskies
The Huskies come into their spring break trip to Florida with a 10-5 record which included a five-match winning streak in the middle in the season. Last time out, the Huskies fell at Marquette, 6-1, on March 2 in their final match before heading to Florida for two matches. Tom Hjertonsson leads the team with a 16-5 record, including 10-1 mark in dual matches playing as the No. 2, 3 and 4 player in the lineup. Georg Lundkvist is second on the team with a 13-3 record and 8-2 mark in dual matches. Carlos Manzanas has seen most of the action at the No. 1 spot as he is 5-5 and boasts a 7-12 overall record.
All-Time Against Bucknell
The Bobcats hold a 2-5 record in seven matches against the Bison but the two have not face each other since the 2011-12 season. The Bobcats won the last matchup between the two teams, 4-3, which snapped a four-match losing streak. Quinnipiac's only other win came on Feb. 12, 2005 in their second career meeting.

Bucknell is 5-5 heading into their trip to Florida where they will face five teams over a four-day span. Bucknell has played one similar opponent to Quinnipiac in Niagara, whom they defeated 7-0. Four different players have 10 or more wins for the Bison, led by Daniel Wright's 13-12 record. Max Kane and Nick Bybel are tied for second with 11 wins while Max McDonald has 10 wins.

Southern Mississippi is 9-7 this season and boasts a 1-1 mark in C-USA play. The Golden Eagles opened up the spring with three straight wins but have gone 6-7 since. Jorman Reyes leads the team with 15 singles victories playing in the middle of the line up while Chao-Yu Huang is second on the team with 13 wins. Wen-Po Tseng is the only other Golden Eagle with double-digit wins with a 10-10 record. Huang and Tseng have been one of the top doubles teams, going 13-6 this season.

North Georgia is a Division II program that holds a 7-3 record but has played some of the top competition at the Division II level with three matches against teams in the top 11. Hugues Renald leads the team with a 9-1 record followed by Alexander Reinauer's 8-1 mark. Top singles play Philipp Mueeler is 5-4 with all nine matches at No. 1 singles. Mueller is also part of the top singles team with Niklas Zielen with a 6-2 record.
All-Time Against Fairleigh Dickinson
Formerly Northeast Conference opponents, the Bobcats and Knights have played 17 matches against each other with the Bobcats posting a 6-11 record in their meetings. The two teams last faced off in the 2012-13 NEC Tournament, with the Knights taking the match, 4-1. Luke Roser is the only current Bobcat to have face the Knights. Quinnipiac's last win against Fairleigh Dickinson came on Apr. 16, 2011 with the Bobcats winning in the NEC Semifinals, 4-2.

Luker Roser was the first Quinnipiac men's tennis player to win the MAAC Player of the Week Award this season after recording the 100th win of his career. Roser's player of the week honor is the first of his career.
Triple Digit Heat
Luke Roser made history on Saturday, March 5 as he became the sixth player in Quinnipiac men's tennis Division I history to win his 100th career match with two wins against the Boston University Terriers. Roser's 100th career-win keeps adding to his record season for the Bobcats as he is just three wins shy of tying his career high. Overall, Roser's 54 singles wins are third in Division I program history while his 46 doubles wins are tied for seventh.
Kuwert-ing Wins
Jonas Kuwert picked up two more wins for his 10th and 11th wins of the season, giving him four straight double-digit wins. So far this season, Kuwert has won six singles matches and five doubles matches.
The Grand Quinnipiac Hotel
Willem van Biezen was the third Bobcat to pick up two victories against Boston University in their match on March 5, winning at No. 1 doubles and No. 4 singles. In singles play, van Biezen won his career-high 14th singles match of the season to break his freshman year total of 13. He is currently tied with Roser for the second most wins on the team with 26.
Solid Season
Ryoma Haraguchi won his 11th match of the season to tie last season for the second most wins he has recorded in his career. The Bobcats' junior is just one singles win of tying his career-high of six set in 2013-14. Haraguchi has 42 career wins for the Bobcats.

Julian Rozenstein won another singles match for the Bobcats as he continues to be a cog in the Bobcats lineup. He already has 20 wins this season to give him 54 in his career. Rozenstein is 20-10 this season, with a 14-6 mark in singles play and 6-4 mark in doubles.
