
QU Women's Volleyball Falls To Hofstra, 3-0, In First Game Of Final Day At Hofstra Invitaitonal

The Quinnipiac University women's volleyball team lost to Hofstra, 3-0, in its first of two games on the final day of the Hofstra Invitational. Quinnipiac won its season-opener last night, 3-2 against Lafayette, before falling to the Pride to drop to 1-1 on the year. Hofstra improves to 3-0 on the season.
Katie Urycki (Chesterton, Indiana) led Quinnipiac with eight kills, while Allison Leigh (Palmer, Alaska) tallied five blocks and four blocks - one solo, and three assisted. Emma Ogden (Crown Point, Indiana) had a team-high eight assists to go along with three digs while Tanner Celestin (Norco, California) had four kills and seven digs.
Quinnipiac will face Saint Francis Brooklyn later today, at 5 p.m. in the final game of the Hofstra Invitational.
