
Men's Cross Country Places Sixth At CCSU Mini-Meet

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac University men's cross
country team finished sixth out of eight teams at the CCSU
Mini-Meet held at Stanley Quarter Park. The Bobcats finished the 5k
race with 124 points, while Central Connecticut State University
placed first with a score of 21.
"Overall, the men had a fairly good day," said Head Coach Carolyn
Martin. "We're looking forward to next weekend and I'm hoping we
can carry the confidence we've built over the past season to the
Northeast Conference Championships."
Finishing first for Quinnipiac and 17th overall was
Brian Cotter (Huntington, N.Y) with a time of 16:05. Finishing in
21st place was Jacob Cetera (Chicago, Ill.) in 16:09.
Dylan DeNuzzo (Melville, N.Y.) was 25th overall with a
time of 16:16. Right behind DeNuzzo, was John Healy (Middletown,
N.J.), with a time of 16:18. The fifth finisher for the Bobcats was
Richard Stoliker (Shelton, Conn.).
The Bobcats will race at the Northeast Conference Championships in
New Britain, Conn. on Saturday, Oct. 30 at Stanley Quarter Park.
The men are scheduled to run at Noon.
