- Started and earned the win in a 4-2 victory over Marist on Oct. 15
- Also saw action in relief in a 2-1 win over Rider on Oct. 11.
As a Freshman in 2013:
- Didn’t see any game action in the 2013 season.
Before Quinnipiac:
- Wrapped up a stellar high school career at Chaminade and will go down as one of the most decorated goalkeepers in program history
- He was a two-year starter for the Flyers while leading the squad to a New York State Catholic High School Championship in 2012
- He allowed just two goals all season long and was named the Most Valuable Player of the championship game
- The nationally ranked Flyers also advanced to the championship game of the New York State Tournament as well
- Westerman, an All-Conference honoree as a senior, also played for the RVC Lightning club team for the last eight years
- With his help behind the ball, the team was ranked No. 1 in the region and was Co-NERP Champions in their most recent campaign.
