Bio
As a Sophomore in 2015-16:
- She was part of a QU win in a Tri-Meet over Alderson Broaddus and Fairmont University on February 20, 2016 with the victory solidified by a Team win.
- She was a part of a QU victory over Glenville State with a score of 269.27-252.305 on February 21, 2016. The Bobcats gained their 6th victory of this meet by winning the Team event.
- She was a part of a QU win over Gannon with a score of 280.545-258.90 on February 28, 2016 along with a Team win.
- She helped QU to victory in a 3/16/16 meet against Azusa Pacific 284.60-283.39 along with a Team win.
- On April 3, 2016, she was a part of a QU win over Concordia on Senior Day.
- She helped QU win a meet over Fairmont State, 273.995-269.975, pm April 17, 2016.
As a Freshman in 2014-15:
- Manthey was a part of a win in a 5-element acro heat with a score of 9.85 in a meet against Baylor and Concordia on 2/7/15.
- In a meet against Oregon on March 1, 2015, she and her teammates won the 5-element heat with a 9.75.
- At a tri-meet with Hawaii Pacific and Alderson Broaddus on March 10, 2015, she helped her team in the 5-element heat to tie the Sharks’ score.
- Manthey helped her team take first place in a Tri-Meet with Alderson Broaddus and King University on March 28, 2015.
- She was a part of a QU win over Gannon University on April 11, 2015.
Before Quinnipiac:
- Attended South Anchorage High School
- As a member of the Alaska Allstars Cheerleading squad, she helped lead the team to multiple Grand State Championships
- Grand Champions of the PacWest Nationals
- Was a state and national individual champion
- Member of the National Honor Society
- Earned honor roll academic letters all 4 years of high school
Personal:
- Born in Oklahoma City but a native of Anchorage, Alaska
- Daughter of Pete and Terri Manthey
- She is a triplet and has a brother Christopher and sister Emma
- Majoring in Journalism and minoring in Math and Business
- Spent summer (2017) as an intern at KTUU Channel 2 in Anchorage, Alaska where I help and shadow reporters in the field, the production team, and the web team
- Lists "Entrepreneurial Media"as the most interesting class taken at Quinnipiac ("The class taught me a lot about what it would mean to have a start-up media business and every little detail that goes into creating it.")
- Two-time scholar athlete and made dean's list every semester at Quinnipiac
