Bobcats Picked Fourth in ECAC Hockey Preseason Poll

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Quinnipiac women's ice hockey has been picked tied for fourth in the 2025-26 ECAC Hockey Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the league office Thursday morning.
Defending champions Cornell were picked to repeat with Colgate, Clarkson, and St.Lawrence rounding out the top four. QU looks to continue on its recent success, finishing in the top five of the conference the last five seasons.
The Bobcats return All-Rookie Defender Makayla Watson as well as leading-scorer Kahlen Lamarche from a team that won 22 games a season ago and went to the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals. QU also brings in 11 newcomers with nine first year players and two transfers.
