Fadairo Breaks Outdoor Mark, Dailey Nears History at Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. — Nyasia Dailey won the 100m event, sprinting a personal-best 11.77 in the event, highlighting eight Bobcats who finished in the top 10 of their event at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, held over two days in Lewisburg, Pa.
Lauren Fadairo also set a new outdoor program record in the triple jump, marking 11.82m in her third attempt in the event.
Dailey's sprint was the second fastest all-time in program history, coming from the outside lane to cross the line first in the win. Also on the track, Alessandra Zaffina finished seventh in the 5000m (16:38.68), Rachel St. Germain placed eighth in the 3000m Steeplechase (10:50.41) and Sydney Lavelle finished sixth in the 400m Hurdles (1:02.14).
The Bobcats also took sixth in the 4x100 relay (48.20), with Dailey joining Kiera Baxter, Michelle Tota and Hailey Tolson in the effort.
In field events, Talia Graham highlighted the pole vault, marking 3.71m for a fifth-place finish in the invitational of the event. Erin Brennan (3.51m) placed third in the open portion.
Lauren Boyd also took home a top ten finish in the long jump, finishing sixth.
TOP 10 PERFORMANCES
The Bobcats will return to Connecticut on Saturday afternoon, heading to Yale for the Mark Young Invitational. Field events will begin at 10 a.m., with track events at 11 a.m.

- Kiera Baxter's 25.34 in the 200m brings her into tenth all-time in that event.
- Zaffina's 5k is the second-fastest outdoor time in history, clocking in at 16:38.68.
- Sierra Gray finished the eventh in 16:54.40, which is good for sixth all-time on the program chart.
- Corinne Barney ran the 10k in 37:14.13, which sets her eighth in program history in that event.
- Sydney Lavelle finished the 100m hurdles in 14.73, slotting her fourth in Quinnipiac history.
- Lavelle also climbed the top 10 in the 400m hurdles, becoming the third Bobcat ever to finish sub-1:03 in the event.
- Isabel Wheeler finished that race in 15.95, which is good for eighth all time.
