Bobcats Wrap Up Action at Columbia Classic

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team kicked off their spring slate with an 11th place finish after the two-day Columbia Classic in Melbourne, Florida.
First-year Vaidehi Shah shot 78 (+6) in the third round of the Columbia Classic, finishing in a tie for 38th place. Shah recorded a three-round total of 229 (+13). Senior Fuge Zhang also finished in 38th place, posting a third-round score of 76 (+4) as she competed as an individual.
Sophomore Samantha Galantini shot a 74 (+2), which bumped her up nine spots to finish in a two-way tie for 47th place.
First year Sophia Fujita posted a 75 (+3) in round three, moving up to seven spots and tying with Marisa Flores for a two-way tie for 49th place with a third-round score of 80 (+8).
Meg Yoshida rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping in a tie for 56th place.
The Bobcats will head to Oldsmar, Florida, for the two-day Butler Invitational on March 10-11.
