Six Bobcats Named to All-MAAC Teams

Hamden, Conn. – Six Bobcats were named to All-MAAC teams, as announced by the league office on Monday, November 3rd.
Morgan Cupo and Madison Alves were named to the All-MAAC First Team, Corey Anderson was named to the All-MAAC Second Team, and Klara Bengtsson, Bianca D'Onofrio, and Olivia Jarvis earned All-MAAC Third Team honors.
Morgan Cupo – All-MAAC First Team (Forward)
Cupo finished the regular season as the team's leader in goals (11) and points (24). Cupo ranked second in the conference in goals, points, and game-winning goals (5). Throughout the duration of conference play, Cupo led the MAAC with eleven goals scored, five game-winning goals, and 24 total points. This was the first time that Cupo was named to the All-MAAC First Team.
Madison Alves – All-MAAC First Team (Defender)
Alves was tabbed to the All-MAAC First Team after playing a crucial role in Quinnipiac's backline, helping them to an unbeaten conference slate. Alves started all 16 games for the Bobcats in the regular season and ranked third in minutes played. Alves scored one goal and registered three assists for five points in her senior season. After being named to the All-MAAC Second Team last season, this marks the first time Alves has been named to the All-MAAC First Team.
Corey Anderson – All-MAAC Second Team (Defender)
In her first season in Hamden, Corey Anderson made an immediate impact, ranking second on the team in goals (3) and points (9), while tying for the team lead in assists (3). Anderson started 15 games for the Bobcats and ranked fifth on the team in minutes played (1316). In her first year, Anderson scored her first collegiate goal to force a draw against the Fairfield Stags.
Klara Bengtsson – All-MAAC Third Team (Midfielder)
Bengtsson was named to the All-MAAC Third team for the second time in her collegiate career. Bengtsson played a pivotal role in Quinnipiac's unbeaten MAAC schedule as she controlled the midfield. The sophomore recorded one goal and three assists for a total of five points.
Bianca D'Onofrio – All-MAAC Third Team (Defender)
D'Onofrio stepped into a starting role and took full advantage, earning All-MAAC Third team honors for the first time in her collegiate career. D'Onofrio helped the Bobcats to an undefeated MAAC season as she started 16 games on the backline. D'Onofrio led the team with 1418 minutes played in the regular season. The junior from Wethersfield, Connecticut, scored her first collegiate goal in the 5-1 win over Mount St. Mary's.
Olivia Jarvis – All-MAAC Third Team (Goalkeeper)
Jarvis earned most of the starts throughout conference play as she finished the regular season with a 7-0-2 record. Jarvis earned three clean sheets in her sophomore season, helping the Bobcats to an 8-0-4 conference record. The sophomore from Simsbury, Connecticut, made 32 saves and allowed just six goals this season.
Quinnipiac placed 18 student-athletes on the MAAC All-Academic Team. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
